process: This work is a double exposure linocut print, made of two A4 sized linocut carvings: two turtles cosmo swimming. Having two from a similar scene formulates depth and creates endless possibilities when printing. Turtles were drawn and carved in the same location. Building backgrounds was done by marking and carving, planning and improvisation. The journeying turtle marvels at life in wonder. Turtles have been traveling round since the Late Permian Epoch. The Permian Period lasted from around 298.9 million to 251.9 million years ago. When printing, experimenting with ink colorings, placement, pressure, and paper, formed a variety.
