year of creation: 2025-2026

materials: acrylic paint, scissors, glue, A3 paper

process: This collage began in 2025, with red and blue flames emerging out of one vertical edge of the black A3 paper. These flames were wavy strips, crafted out of painted sheets of paper, cut purposefully to leave a straight edge, that is glued to one border of the paper. Thanks to the card Six Wings, many orange, painted paper cutouts, were crafted, then kept in a recycled plastic container. In the beginning of 2026 calendar year, upon returning from holidays, warm colored, orange, leafy shaped, painted paper, was glued down on the work. Hearts and shimmering, iridescent leaves were crafted out of nostalgic materials, decades old.
