process: Jaguar started with a swirling, abstract doodle in pink marker, and this guided how the work would be colored. Pencil mapped the body and facial spots of the cat. Spontaneous layers of color embrace, forming a rainbow colored background.

Think king, ponder, reflect. Four waves holds a mirroar to the card number 4: emperor. The jaguar has spots, contrasting with the stripes of a tiger. Four waves is in color, drawn, and painted, whereas emperor, the black and white linocut had been drawn, carved, and printed. Additionally, the cool cats are faced in opposite directions.
Jaguar embodies four waves, being a four legged creature that enjoys relaxing in the water. The wavy ribbons that permeated the work, guided sections of colors and patterns, and are waves.
