process: Acrylic paint and water were used to create this artwork. This fairytale forest is in the Dublin Mountains of Ireland - a beautiful, serene atmosphere, wrapped in flourishing lichen that only thrives in clean environments. The air is pure and the trees seem to stretch on forever. This work was painted using dot and line work to form textures, and contrasting saturated versus more muted colors to paint. This painting strives to radiate tranquility and refreshment. Cycles of nature are depicted in Dublin Mountain. Trees get knocked down, yet continue growing from their new angle. Nutrients from plants and animals return into the Earth, providing nourishment.
