Infinite Wand

materials: watercolor, acrylic paint, water, tape, colored pencil, watercolor paper

process: While painting, masking tape was placed in the center of this work, clearing space for the infinite wand. Colored pencil was used to draw the sun, and sprinkle accents of color throughout.

  • Opening of the heart.

  • Creative ideas work in strange ways. When writing these three words, it felt like PCI already meant something. In the description of positivity, >opening of the heart< was written. Interestingly, in medical terms, a PCI is a: Percutaneous Coronary Intervention. To quote the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada for the definition: “Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) is a non-surgical procedure that uses a catheter to place a stent to open up blood vessels in the heart”.

  • This work’s concept was a wand that infinitely creates. In early 2026, this A3 piece was cut into little shapes, some being: flowers and leaves.
