process: The Wormhole’s Portal started as a pencil sketch to plan the imagined scene. Acrylic paint and gouache initially paint the galaxy spiral, planet, sky, lotus, and sea in warm colors. The mountain was filled in with cool paints; trees, and vegetation. Red and blue, two primary colors, symbolize the eternal essence of universal energy, as energy is not created or destroyed, simply transformed. Drawing in white out increased depth, and markers traced, detailing colorful drips from skies into mountains.

The Wormhole’s Portal paints mysteries with acrylic, gouache, white-out and marker, while pondering questions like: What came before existence as it is now known? Space is infinitely expanding, so what is space expanding into? The question mark signifies the unknown and it’s limitless beauty and bounty. Keep asking questions to further learn.
