artistic process: This piece was made with acrylic paint and posca pens. Excess brown paint from Celtic Mist, a forest commission, that was mixed with water created the original background of a brown tinted undercoat. Here I saw a silhouette of a kangaroo had formed, and began to paint one, while learning about them. Kangaroos are extremely fascinating with many incredible aspects to them. This funky space world is filled with lush greenery a flourishing environment, as Kangaroos are herbivores. Using pure imagination, mix media, colors, and textures, this piece has been lovingly crafted.
